Holiday Closings

Town offices will be closed on Friday, April 3rd in observance of the holiday.

All offices will reopen on Monday, April 6th at 8:00 a.m.

There will be no change in the week’s normal Friday garbage and recycling pickup. 

Spring Leaf & Branch Pick-Up

The Town of Lowell Street Department will begin the Town wide leaf pick-up program on Monday, March 30th.  This program will run for two weeks, ending on Friday, April 10th. 

Branch pick-up is tentatively set to begin Monday, April 20th.  This program will continue every week until the end of May.  From June through September, the Street Department will be our the second full week of each month collecting branches.

Residents are asked to place leaves and branches along the curb (not in the street) and away from mailboxes, trees and parked cars.

Water Main Flushing

 The Town of Lowell’s Water Department will begin its spring water main flushing during the late night hours from April 12th thru April 24th.            

         Residents are asked to avoid using water while the flushing is being conducted in their neighborhood to avoid excessive rust and particles from entering their home water systems.

          Once the flushing is completed, residents in the affected areas are urged to open the cold-water faucet in their bathtub or an outside spigot for 3 to 5 minutes to flush out any foreign material in the service line.

          Questions regarding the flushing program should be directed to the Water Distribution Department at 696-6011 or 313-4199.

Annual Easter Egg Hunt

Annual Easter Egg Hunt

 

 For children 1-12 years of age.  The Easter bunny will be there to get this event started.  Local business, families and organizations donate baskets to raffle off.  If you would like to donate a basket, please contact the park office before March 2nd.  Don’t forget to bring something to put your eggs in.  In case of inclement weather, baskets will be raffled off in the Administration Building Gym.  Volunteers are needed to help make this event a success. 

 Hunt begins promptly at 10am on Saturday April 4, 2015 at the Tri-Creek Administration building located at 195 W. Oakley Avenue.
