Garbage Collection
The town’s contracted garbage company, Illiana Disposal has announced that the garbage collection schedule will not be altered by any of the holidays in March or April. The garbage company does not observe St. Patrick’s Day or Good Friday. Garbage and recycling will be picked up normally on those days. Also, since Easter is observed on a Sunday, garbage service will not be affected that week either. Residents are reminded that garbage containers and recycling bins must be placed at the curb no later that 6 a.m. each Friday in order to receive that town’s municipal contracted service. Service problems can be reported directly to Illiana Disposal at 662-8600.
