Bookworks South was founded in 1992 on the assumption that quality accounting services should be available and affordable to small business owners. Initially we set out to provide affordable, timely bookkeeping and payroll services to small businesses. We felt sound tax help and advice should be available to all who wanted it. But it soon became apparent to us that the average taxpayer was missing out on this advice, so we began to offer tax preparation services as well.
My name is Donna Szafranski and I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. I have over 30 years of accounting experience, as well as over 17 years experience in taxation. At present time, I am the treasurer for two local not for profit organizations here in Lowell.
Working with me is Staff Accountant Stephanie Vanderhere. Stephanie has a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from St. Joseph's College.
We have a network of professionals, dedicated to assisting our clientele, both business and individual.
Our philosophy is very simple, we prepare every return as if it was our own to minimize your tax liability to the extent allowed by law. Our goal has been and always will be to assist our clients in making the tax preparation experience as easy as possible.
